These cigar box purses are custom made by Hedi, a San Diego artisan. Hedi is known for making lovely new
things from pieces and remnants of old things, which is reflected in her business name and philosophy of "New Vintage Goods".
Currently recrafting genuine cigar boxes into compelling, whimsical handbags, she also has a line of pillows featuring vintage
hankies, table linens, scarves, trims, and buttons from her stash of collected period pieces. Other works include costumes,
jewelry, needle arts, home accessories, and multimedia assemblages.
She is proud to have officially named a Crayola
Crayon, the popular "Pacific Blue", in a national contest.
